Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 September 2026

KeenMind Lab (“we”, “the site”) is a static, client-side game hub at keenmindlab.com. We built it so you can play without creating an account. This policy describes cookies, what stays on your device, what third parties may see, and what we do not collect.

Information stored on your device

Personal bests, theme preference (light or dark), and similar settings are written to localStorage in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you clear it, share a result yourself, or your browser syncs storage. We cannot read it. Clearing site data in your browser deletes it.

Cookies

KeenMind Lab itself does not set a first-party tracking cookie for scores — those live in localStorage. We do use cookies and similar technologies when analytics or advertising is active, as described below. A cookie is a small file stored on your device that a site or a third party can read on later visits. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings; the games will still run.

No accounts

There is no sign-up, no email collection, no password, and no profile. If that changes, this policy will change before it does.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 with a measurement ID configured on the site. When active, GA4 may set cookies and may process IP address, coarse location, device and browser information, pages viewed, and custom events named game_started, game_completed, and game_retried (with a game identifier and, for completions, a score and percentile). This is used to understand which tests people finish — not to identify you. Google’s own policy applies to data they process.

Advertising, AdSense, and Google’s advertising cookies

We use third-party advertising to keep the site free. Google AdSense (and its partners) may serve ads on result screens, in article content below games, and in a desktop sidebar. Ads are never placed inside or next to a game canvas, and they are hidden during active play.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ uses of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

These advertising cookies and device identifiers are used to show ads, to measure them, and to limit how often you see them. We do not control the cookies Google sets. Invalid-click protection matters to us: click pads do not sit on ads, and there is a minimum gap between any interactive control and any ad slot.

Support links

“Support the dev” links go to a third-party payment page (Buy Me a Coffee). That provider’s privacy policy governs anything you enter there. We do not see your card details. The same link is the contact path for this site.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not run a server-side score database.
  • We do not require permissions beyond what a website uses.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Retention

localStorage remains until you clear it. Analytics and ad data follow Google’s retention settings. We do not keep a parallel copy.

Your choices

Refuse cookies via your browser. Use Google Ads Settings to opt out of personalized ads. Play offline after the first load — the games themselves do not need a network. Delete localStorage for this origin to wipe scores and theme. Questions: the contact page.
