15 Second Click Speed Test

A quarter minute of clicking. The burst is gone. What remains is whether your form survives being bored.

Fifteen seconds is a different sport from five

Five seconds is still a sprint you can brag about. Fifteen seconds is long enough to notice your grip, your unused fingers, and the tiny stall that appears when you think about the live counter. This page locks the duration to 15 seconds so the people who search that exact phrase are not dumped onto a 5-second test with a note. The clock starts on the first click. Ads hide. The pad is the stage.

A 15-second average is almost always lower than a 5-second average for the same person on the same mouse. The useful comparison is the gap. A small gap means your 5-second number is sustainable. A large gap means you were borrowing from adrenaline. Neither is immoral. They are different measurements, and mixing them in a screenshot argument is how those arguments go nowhere.

What a good 15-second score looks like

Standard clicking on a healthy mouse typically lands around 5.5–6.5 CPS over 15 seconds. Seven is solid. Eight for the full quarter-minute is the kind of control that also shows up on the 30-second page. Butterfly and jitter still inflate the number, but they start to miss contacts in the second half — watch the live rate fall off a cliff at 0:09 if the technique is messy. That cliff is more informative than the final average.

Form notes: settle the forearm, click from the finger, and do not stare at the CPS readout. Watching the counter is how people hitch. Look at the pad. Breathe once around the 8-second mark. When it ends, read average and peak together. A high peak and a mediocre average means you sprinted a distance piece.

Where 15 seconds sits in the family

It is the first duration that feels like work. Use it as a bridge: 5 seconds for the headline, 15 for “can I actually do this in a short fight,” 60 for endurance. The spacebar speed test has a 10-second and 30-second mode if you want the same idea on a different switch. Cross-running mouse 15s and spacebar 10s in one sitting is a better profile of a hand than any single screenshot.

FAQ

What is a good CPS for 15 seconds?

5.5–6.5 is typical. Seven is good. Eight for the whole quarter-minute is excellent standard clicking.

Why does my live CPS crash around 10 seconds?

Technique that relies on bounce or tension usually falls apart in the second half. Loosen the unused fingers and try again. The crash is data.

Is 15 seconds better than 10?

It is longer, not better. Ten seconds still has some burst. Fifteen is the first duration that feels like a short fight instead of a sprint.

Can I switch clicking methods mid-run?

You can. It almost always produces a 1–2 second valley that destroys the average. Pick a method before click one.
